DESCRIPTION:The CAA's Art History Travel Fund\, established to provide stud
 ents with opportunities to gain first-hand knowledge of original works of 
 art\, grants instructors of qualifying undergraduate and graduate art hist
 ory classes up to $10\,000 to cover student and instructor travel\, accomm
 odations\, and admission fees to special exhibitions in the US and around 
 the world.EligibilityInstructors of graduate- and undergraduate-level art 
 history classes&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Exhibitions on any artist\, period\, or area 
 of art history&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Class can be no larger than fifteen students&n
 bsp\;Awards can be made only to institutions which have a current CAA inst
 itutional membership in good standing&nbsp\;Applicants must have a current
  CAA individual membership in good standing&nbsp\;Awards may only be used 
 for admission fees\, travel\, and lodging expenses for the instructor and 
 students. Every attempt to attain group rates must be made. Meals and othe
 r incidental costs cannot be covered by grant funds.Funds may only be used
  to travel to exhibitions that correspond directly to the content of the c
 lass.Travel to permanent collections\, performances\, temporary installati

 tter (250 word maximum)&nbsp\;Tentative itinerary of travel and lodging (2
 50 word maximum)&nbsp\;Budget detailing lodging expenses and local travel 
 expenses associated with traveling to and from the exhibition\, and admiss
 ion costs\, including an explanation of how any travel and accommodation f
 unds in excess of the award will be raised&nbsp\;Letter of support from th
 e instructor&rsquo\;s department chair or dean &nbsp\;&nbsp\;Awardee Repor
 ting RequirementsAwardees must submit a report explaining in detail the be
 nefits received and problems encountered during travel to the exhibition f
 or which support was received. Reports should be 1000 words maximum and mu
 st be submitted to CAA no later than two months after the completion of tr
 avel.Recipients of the award will be offered the chance to share their exp
