Andrew Dolkart, one of the three founders and directors of the NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project has won the National Trust for Historic Preservation Trustees' Award for Organizational Excellence for its "superlative and continued achievement in historic preservation" and its "trailblazing approach in making a previously invisible history visible."

Andrew Dolkart joined av福利社 in 1975, and is a Life Member. He won the Antoinette Foster Downing Book Award in 2012. He has served on the Downing Book Award Committee in 2008 and 2017. He was a Session Chair at the 2017 av福利社 Annual International Conference in 2017.
