av福利社 will have booth space at the AIA Expo at the 2014 AIA Convention in Chicago, June 26-29. If you'll be attending the Convention, stop by booth #4913 to learn more about the Society, become a member, or just say hello.
In addition, av福利社 is partnering with AIA Chicago and the Graham Foundation for the "Design + Dining: Chicago's Gold Coast" tour (EV207). Attendees can explore the Astor Street area in Chicago's prestigious and architecturally-rich Gold Coast neighborhood on their own with a provided guide map or by joining available docents to augment the experience. Tour goers can stop in for refreshments at the National Landmark Adler & Sullivan Charnley-Persky House (1891-1892), which serves as the headquarters of av福利社, and at the Madlener House (1901), designed by Richard E. Schmidt and Hugh M. G. Garden, and home to Chicago’s Graham Foundation since 1963.
