Driehaus, The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation; Sarah Herda, Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts; and Peter Landon, FAIA, LEED AP, Landon Bone Baker Architects. Tickets will go on sale in September. |

| | Registration Open for Hawaii Field Seminar Don J. Hibbard, author of Buildings of Hawaii, will lead an av福利社 Field Seminar in Hawaii from September 23 to October 2, 2016. The seminar will explore the distinct built environment of Honolulu, with a focus on its twentieth-century buildings. A Study Program Fellowship is available for graduate students and emerging scholars. The deadline to apply is July 1. |

| | New Gardens for Charnley-Persky House av福利社 installed new plantings in three outdoor areas around Charnley-Persky House on April 23, 2016, thanks to the generosity of the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Fund at The Chicago Community Trust. Designed by Chicago landscape architect Daniel Weinbach of Daniel Weinbach and Partners, Ltd., the gardens feature densely-planted perennials that are both colorful and suitable for Chicago’s seasonal temperature swings. |

 | | Announcing New Jav福利社 Book Review Editors Two new Book Review Editors have been appointed for the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians (Jav福利社). Dale Allen Gyure, professor of architecture at Lawrence Technological University, will commission reviews of books on North and South American architecture. Sheila Crane, associate professor of architectural history at University of Virginia, will commission reviews of books that fall under the category of Europe, Africa and Asia from 1750. |

Sutherland with Gregory Herman, Claudia Shannon, and Jean Sizemore, which will be published by the University of Virginia Press in 2017, and twenty-five entries from Buildings of New Hampshire, by Bryant F. The House Appropriations committee is determining their appropriations for Fulbright-Hays and for the Title VI program, which ensures that students on U.S. campuses develop expertise in foreign languages and area studies. Please help our partner organization, the National Humanities Alliance, to advocate for Fulbright-Hays funding. to urge your Representative to oppose the Senate's cuts to Fulbright-Hays and to support at least level funding for Title VI and Fulbright-Hays! |

The Marion Dean Ross Chapter of the av福利社 is pleased to offer the 2016 Elisabeth Walton Potter Research Award. The purpose of the award is to further awareness and knowledge of the architectural heritage of the Pacific Northwest.
