This is our second Highlights feature on recent av福利社 award winners who have contributed new material to av福利社ARA. This month we are looking at Patricia Blessing, the second recipient of the , which gives young scholars the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world to help enlarge their perspective on the built environment. During her travel year, Patricia visited Armenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Kosovo, Lebanon, Macedonia, Morocco, Spain, Turkey, and the UK. Vijecnica (City Hall), Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Designed by Alexander Wittek, 1892-94, the building shows inspiration from medieval Islamic structures such as 11th century Fatimid mosques and the 14th century Alhambra in Granada.
