The av福利社 Board of Directors seeks nominations for the 2020 class of , those professionally active or retired individuals who have distinguished themselves by a lifetime of significant contributions to the field of architectural history. These contributions may include scholarship, teaching, service to av福利社, or stewardship of the built environment.
Nominations may be made by any individual member of av福利社 in an email that details the candidate’s outstanding leadership in scholarship, teaching, stewardship of the built environment, and/or service in support of av福利社’s mission. Please also attach a CV for each nominee.
Please email nominations to Beth Eifrig, who manages av福利社 fellowships and nominations, at beifrig@sah.org by August 1, 2019.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Executive Committee at its August meeting, and accepted nominations will then be submitted to the Board of Directors for final approval by a vote at its regular meeting in November. In exceptional circumstances, the Board of Directors may act to name Fellows at other times of the year.
New Fellows of the Society will be announced in January 2020, and a full list of av福利社 Fellows is published in every issue of . The Fellows will be honored at the Awards Ceremony at the av福利社 Annual International Conference in Seattle, Washington, April 29–May 3, 2020.
