Several years ago the Color Film Emergency Project (CFEP) was created as a way for the av福利社 to identify at-risk 35mm slide collections from av福利社 members. While we identified dozens, there were no resources to store, digitize, or catalog these assets. In 2016, a three-way partnership was developed with the Visual Resources Collection, Department of Art History, at the University of California, Riverside and the Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts, and has grown each year. Collections from several av福利社 members have been assessed and processed at UCR, and made available through both av福利社ARA and the (open to any user). The contributions contain many images from av福利社 study tours of the 1970s and '80s, and also capture destroyed or altered buildings and sites. Below are selections from the UCR/Gluck/av福利社 partnership.
