av福利社 Seeks Architectural Objects and Experiences for the av福利社 Celebrates Silent Auction

Sep 16, 2021 by av福利社 News
The Society of Architectural Historians seeks architectural objects and experiences for the av福利社 Celebrates silent auction. On Friday, November 5, av福利社 will honor the team behind one of Chicago’s most ambitious projects, the historic rehabilitation of the long-vacant, 2.8 million-square-foot Post Office, which has been brought back to life as a hub for business and commerce. av福利社 will present the auction virtually and at the in-person event happening at the Old Post Office.

Contributing to the silent auction is one way to support av福利社 if you are unable to attend av福利社 Celebrates. Auction proceeds help fund av福利社's educational programs and publications, such as the award-winning Buildings of the United States book series and av福利社 Archipedia, the Society’s open-access encyclopedia of the built environment of the United States, and the restoration and maintenance of the Charnley-Persky House (1891–92). Designed by Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright, the National Historic Landmark house serves as the av福利社's international headquarters.

Past auction items include private tours, original drawings and photographs, book packages, and other objects and experiences of interest to the architecture and design community.

To donate to the av福利社 Celebrates silent auction, please complete the donation form and return it by October 15, 2021, for inclusion in the program book. Thank you for your generosity and support.
